Happy Easter, Our Home, Our Family

Here are some photos from our day. Our family has voted to keep the blog going. However, it may be others doing it besides me! It is an easy way for everyone to see us, especially our friends from Ukraine. I am hoping to start our scrapbooks again that I can make on the computer. Maybe this summer when we're settled more. If the floors looked scuffed, it's because they are..in the process of being sanded and refinished. First photo is looking from the living room into hall & dining room. Second is the kitchen. Chris is the main guy on doing the floors with top notch help from his Uncle Mark, friends Jeff & Tony, his Dad Louis, Expert 3M Wood Floor guy, Galen, all of ouy immediate family at one time or another, 2nd cousin, Ethan, and probably more that I am forgetting!

Easter Day photos...........We sanded, vacuumed and coated the floor today after church, managed 2 egg hunts, and had a wonderful turkey dinner (all children are quiet and sleeping as we write this)!

Andre's loose teeth a few weeks back...and Katya talking to her friend on skype. She is really good at Skype and the computer now too. Sophia had a 12 year party at an ice skating rink. Lots of girls and fun.

Happy Easter....

We had a nice vacation in San Diego as a family and have a lot of photos but they are on Katya's computer. We forgot to get a camera, so Katya was fortunate enough to get an early birthday present (in purple - her favorite). In a couple more blogs, I will blog the "final chapter" to our blog and go back to trying to send photos here and there to our family and friends. I want to move into "normal" family living, now. Katya may pick up the "blogging". It will remain online I am sure for a long time. And maybe we can print it for our safe keeping. It has been a wonderful tool. We are moving! Thank-you Lord. Chris has put in all the wood floors and needs to sand, smooth and coat them now. We painted 1 room and have one more to go. Friends have been helping, thank-you. We are about 1/10th moved. Have larger furniture, a few kitchen things, and the never ending garage. Hoping for April 30th completion. We are planning a 15 year anniversary, 1 year complete family, Katya 15, Jaclyn 13, New home soup and salad open house on May 21st (Sat), from 12-6pm. We will send out invites. We look forward to seeing you! All are welcome, friends, family, hockey friends, ECAS friends, homeschool friends, church friends, work friends, volleyball friends, new neighbors. We'll have a variety of endless pots of soup, salad, bread and celebration cake, please just bring a card of encouragement and hugs. We've had many different kinds of days this past year, and your kind words will be the fuel that keeps us going strong. God bless you and your families in all that do this year in 2011.
