Dear Friends and Family,
In our light months of June & July, we are trying to get our older home on the market to sell. Chris is working extra hard with fixit projects, and I'm just tired and exhausted from the move, party, school and shuffling kids everywhere. But I am feeling a bit more rested today.
We had a wonderful anniversary away from it all, just driving, spending wonderful low key time with Alesia's Dad & Mom up north. We were able to see some family and friends on our way back, which was long over due.
We talked and listened and enjoyed the quiet time. Now we need to hunker down and work hard for a few days and weeks to sell our previous home.
Tonight we had dinner together and passed out the candy bars given to us at our party last Saturday. Every one of them was broken. Many things have been broken over the past year...some big things, some little things, some hearts. And many times the one breaking them doesn't say anything or admit anything.
It's my prayer and hope for the Haak Family, that someday they will admit what they break, and seek forgiveness for breaking the little candy bar with their hands, or the family member's heart with their words. That will be a beautiful day in our family. When we can trust each other enough to do this.
God bless your day. We need your prayers during these long days for the next month or so!
In Him, Alesia & Chris
